Konfekció – Quirky and colorful vintage clothing store

„Rebellious leather jackets, pointy nosed boots and a whole variety of accessories can all be found here.”

This small store owned by Kata Oltai, an art historian and curator, is located in the city’s rapidly rebuilding District VIII. Olta is also known for the feminist gallery FERi, which is a repurposed car shop. Everything in the store reflects her style. Rebellious leather jackets, pointy nosed boots and a whole variety of accessories can all be found here (except, of course, when they are just too good to be sold and instead pop up on her Instagram with #keepingthemformyself). discounts are often offered, and you can buy „real trash” items for incredible prices. Summer afternoons are often spent with impromptu get-togethers of customers, friends or just passers-by creating a very homely atmosphere.
