Trafó House of Contemporary Arts – A space for dance, literature, the arts, theater and music

„There is a great emphasis placed on representing up-and-coming artists.”

The house of contemporary arts officially opened its doors in 1998. Before that, it operated illegally as a squat. Now it’s a place where you can find a diverse event program that makes space for dance, literature, the arts, theater and music. There is a great emphasis placed on representing up-and-coming artists. Head to the Trafó Gallery for contemporary art and to the Great Hall for contemporary dance. Though not normally a space for partying, it does have some. The photos for this location were taken at a queer party I attended last year that was filled with new faces and fresh music.
