Csiga Café – An upscale café and all-day restaurant filled with artwork

„Now 10 years old, it’s one of few places to still be standing from pre-gentrification Rákóczi tér.”

They call themselves a café, but it’s much more than that. It’s one of the first spaces to have opened in the Rákóczi tér before the slow gentrification of the area started. It’s become more expensive recently, but it’s still the perfect spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner, and for some reason you kind of feel like drinking a glass of alcohol with any of them. Lots of people come to work here, too, to spend a day of creative frenzy under the massive artworks hanging on the walls.
