About this place

Built in 1846, Cismigiu Park is made of up various lush spaces that all surround a small artificial lake where visitors can row boats, walk through old English gardens and enjoy nature. The park, which is the largest in Bucharest, has many statues of Romanian people of interest and is an important part of Romanian literary history. You can find the main entrance at Regina Elisabeta Boulevard in front of city hall, with a second entrance at Știrbei Vodă Street near Crețulescu Palace. In winter, there is an ice rink whereas in summer, renting a paddle boat is a thing to do.
