King Mihai I Park

Beautiful park on the periphery of Lake Herăstrău.

About this place

The beautiful King Mihai I Park is located on the northern end of Bucharest on the periphery of Lake Herăstrău. Divided into two zones, the park features both a rustic, undisturbed side and another more public area for recreational use and activities. There you’ll find restaurants and bars, along with a soccer field, tennis court, yacht club, open-air theater and the Diplomatic Club, along with its golf course. The most renowned site within the park, the "Dimitrie Gusti" National Village Museum is an open-air ethnographic exhibit representing traditional Romanian village life.
