About this place

There's more than politics at play in Romania's enormous Palace of the People. The structure also houses the city's National Museum of Contemporary Art (or MNAC). Its permanent collection is made up of an eclectic selection of Romanian multimedia works, and that's what you can expect from its temporary exhibitions as well.

Summer schedule (Apr 1 - Sept 30)
Mon – Tue: Closed
Wed - Sun: 12:00 – 20:00

Winter schedule (Oct 1 - March 31)
Mon - Tue: Closed
Wed - Sun: 10:00 – 18:00

The museum is closed during legal holidays. Final museum entry will be made 1 hour prior to closing hours. The museum terrace is open at all times during visiting hours.
