Budapest is a city for bathing. That's largely thanks to the Ottoman occupation, in which Turkish baths were introduced to the city. Rudas Bath dates back to that time; it was built in 1550, and its interior architecture still retains many facets of its Turkish origins.
Much of the bath complex is indoors, making it an ideal place to visit no matter the weather and especially when it’s cold outside.
Entry to the bath complex includes access to a thermal pool, tub bath, sauna complex and swimming pool. Additional spa services are also available for purchase. Before going, be sure to review the bathing schedule as Rudas is gender separated most days of the week.
